True Wisdom: TO COUNT YOUR DAYS WITH WISDOM, TIME WITH SUCCESS

A SERIES

IN EVERYTHING YOU DO, PUT GOD FIRST, AND HE WILL DIRECT YOU, AND CROWN YOUR EFFORTS WITH SUCCESS-PROVERBS 3:6

FIRST CHAPTER

No matter how much schooling or wisdom a person attains. Without the right mind frame, or motivation/belief. A person can never succeed in his plans. You have to believe in yourself, and have confidence that you can and do what so many others do around you. Remember to always apply your heart to learn from your mistakes. That is the key to achieving your ultimate goals. Remember that success often comes from taking a misstep in the wrong direction. If you do not finish the talk you started out to do, you will never learn from your mistakes, or gain the self discipline needed

Now that you have started this book, this could be the first step to achieve the dreams you always wanted. God has promised wonderful things to his loved people. That includes you; don’t short your life, or your children, and family by letting the devil tell you “its too late!” Or that you can’t do what dreams dream. Take a stand for what is yours, live up to what you have already attained. (PHILLIPIANS 3:16)

Accept what God promises into your heart first then follow with actions. (50% of children follow in their father’s footsteps.) Remember that children live first by your actions. What kind of life do you want your child to lead? If you don’t want your child to go thru what you have. Then take the first step for them! If you are not a Christian then is ok. This book is still profitable. Take a short break and check out these promises. See if they are pleasing enough to learn something about.

SECOND CHAPTER

COUNT YOUR TIME BY YOUR DAYS, AND PRIORETYS BY YOUR TIME

A lot of people make the mistake by thinking that they have all the time in the world. Just as much as people die each day, that is not true! God wisely gave each person only the gift of living on earth 120 years, no more. It’s a proven fact, written in the bible itself. If you subtract your age from that number, then you have and idea about how many years, or even days left to carry out and achieve your goals, and dreams. A sobering fact for the unmotivated.

Just start to comprehend what that means for your life. All sorts of thoughts come forward. How you want to be remembered? What kind of impact do you want to place in your family or humanity? Re-evaluate your priorities and dreams in this point of view. With this said it is crucial to arm yourself with the “with my faith, I can overcome all things, even this,” Attitude. Yes, “arm,” yourself with that attitude, with love, and nothing can stand against you. With this nothing will discourage you; every circumstance will be complete motivation.

You will be at the top of every situation, never last, or at the end. Live up to what you have already attained. Don’t let Satan tell you “it’s too late.” Now that you started to read this book, and ultimately make a change, he is desperate, to “steel the seed from your heart,” or motivation. After a mountain there is always a valley so press on! You have a promise that somebody is behind you and before you every step of the way.

LESSONS FROM LIFE; TRUE WISDOM #2

“PERSONAL RESPONSABILITY AND SELF-DECEPTION!”

It’s not our past that defines us; it’s the lessons we CHOOSE to learn from our past that defines who we are today.

It’s so funny how we can always look back and have 20/20 vision. We may all ask…WHY!? Should we be so blind to not see the log we trip over? When you’re able to get that special place of solitude, that place where your heart is your only audience. You will find “TRUTH!” Not a truth that is argued over the world’s airways, but a quiet fight within the closed walls of your soul.

We live in a world where influences are all around, we live in a world where everybody and everything is connected. It’s not until you get that time alone, that time of piece and quiet, when you hear your true voice speak. That voice from within, telling you who you are, what to believe and what not to believe. Influence has the same personality as the devil its best weapon is making you feel, that it doesn’t exist!

Now I will tell a bit of my story…..I graduated high school, and was on a highway to hell. I was trying to survive; it’s not easy to find a job when your criminal record yells, “burglary of vehicle!” I had bills to pay, and no way to pay them; I had friends who weren’t my friends. Party, Party, Party was the way it was going; I had warrants for my arrest, and knew my day would come. So, I was going to have the time of my life, until then, I was going to “live!” It was fun until you do everything you’re told not to do, break every rule, prove your manhood, and then, find yourself having to sit alone, empty, and tired. With nothing positive at all to show for your life. I was living the only way I knew how. For some reason I started being drawn towards church…lol I remember I woke up one Sunday, and just got dressed, went downstairs, my friends were still cutting up lines on the table, and they were like “where you going all dressed up?” Confused I said, “Church,” there was an awkward silence, and then I walked out. I would sit in the back pews, hoping nobody talked to me. I remember I was so twisted. One cute girl tried to talk to me at a Baptist church, and I tried to take her home, come to find out she was the pastors daughter….I had no idea why I was at church. I just had to go!! I would listen, and then leave before they dismissed so I didn’t have to talk. I would go to all different churches as to not be seen too many times…

I never really changed the way I lived, I didn’t want to. I just knew there was more to this life than what I was currently seeing, and I wanted all the secrets to this world. It was all coming to an end soon, nobody can run forever. I was leaving a party in the south side, and had my girlfriend, and her friend with me. I remember the friend asked me real quiet, “did you have fun?” I looked out the window at the Houston skyline and said “NO!” It was crazy; the things I used to value were becoming pointless, and dumb! I remember saying a prayer a few minutes later; it was the first time I prayed in so long, I said “however you want me to do it, Lord just show me!” Then not 30 seconds later I see red lights going off behind my car, it was my time….Later, that time I spent listening to my heart, and God, alone was the best thing that ever happened to me. Away from “friends,” and any other “influence,” that could distract me from truth.

To be in tune with your heart, and soul is to be in tune with your destiny! We hardly ever hear the soft drumbeat, because it’s so quiet, that we don’t recognize it over the noise we let inside us. The hardest path you will ever take is the path of destiny, because it will demand every ounce of your person. Yet, it will be the easiest path to take. You have to be true to yourself to reach this destiny, and then get quite to hear what fork in the road to take.

I hope all of you can read this story with respect, and honesty towards yourselves. After all, this is my story, one I’m not ashamed to display. We should never be ashamed of our past, only if we can embrace it, and learn the appropriate lessons. It’s not our past that defines us; it’s the lessons we CHOOSE to learn from our past that defines who we are today. Remember God looks at you, not as who you were, or even are today, but who you can become!

Lessons from Life; True Wisdom

Abraham Lincoln-”in the middle of challenge, lies opportunity.”

We will never celebrate the things that were just given to us, but yet, not worked for. They are meaningless. I couldn’t imagine, not being pressed, and squeezed, what promise is there to look forward to, when your not pushed hard. God does let us take on higher responsibility, again and again, cause we need to lean on him, and not ourselves. Our lives should be modeled that people say “How in the Hell, did he/she do all that!?” and our reply is “I didn’t!” God did….
